Ain Shams University Faculty of Dentistry Organizes Its First Dental Career Day 2026
The Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University, organized its first Dental Career Day 2026, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zein El Abdeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Dr. Karim Mostafa El-Batouty, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University; and Prof. Dr. Walaa Hamed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The event was organized as part of the Faculty’s commitment to supporting its students and graduates and opening new horizons for them to explore various professional opportunities and career pathways.
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Dalia El-Qorshy, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Reham Magdy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Ola Mohamed Sadeq, Director of the Ain Shams University Career Center. The event also brought together a distinguished group of experts and specialists, with the attendance of faculty members, internship doctors, students, and graduates from different universities.
The Career Day also featured the participation of a number of specialized companies and institutions in the dental field, including Dental Express, PuraCare, IMECO (International Medical Equipment Co.), Nile Dental, KMC, and TDS – The Dental Store. The participating companies were present throughout the event, offering employment and career opportunities to students and graduates. This provided attendees with a valuable opportunity to engage directly with representatives of the job market, explore available career opportunities, and gain insight into current professional requirements, further strengthening the connection between academic education and professional practice.
The organization of the Career Day reflects the Faculty’s belief that the role of an academic institution extends beyond providing education and knowledge. It also includes preparing graduates who are aware of their capabilities, informed about the opportunities available to them, and equipped to compete and grow in the job market, through exploring diverse career pathways, connecting with experts and professionals, and building valuable professional networks.
