As part of the Internship Unit and Visiting Residents Unit's commitment to continuous professional development and advancing the scientific and clinical competencies of internship dentists, the Comprehensive Dentistry Forum was held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the Ain Shams University Conference Hall.
The scientific forum was primarily designed for internship dentists, while also welcoming dental students from all academic years to enhance their educational experience and strengthen the connection between academic knowledge and contemporary clinical practice across various dental specialties.
The program featured a series of specialized scientific lectures delivered by distinguished faculty members. Prof. Khaled Ali Nour, Assoc. Prof. Mohamed Nasser, Assoc. Prof. Zeinab Diaa, and Assoc. Prof. Mohamed Amr presented a lecture entitled:
"Innovation, Research and Practice: From Teaching to Smartness."
This was followed by a lecture delivered by Prof. Maged Zohdy and Assoc. Prof. Doaa Taha entitled:
"Endocrowns Uncovered: The Monoblock Revolution in the Management of Endodontically Treated Teeth."
The scientific program concluded with a lecture presented by Dr. Mirna Boutros and Dr. Omnia Hany entitled:
"The New Era of Conservative Endodontics: Advanced Rotary File System and Disinfection in Complex Canal Anatomy."
The lectures highlighted the latest scientific advances and clinical applications across various fields of dentistry, contributing to the enhancement of participants' clinical knowledge and professional skills while promoting the integration of academic education with evidence-based clinical practice.
The forum witnessed remarkable attendance and active engagement from internship dentists and dental students. Approximately 280 participants representing Ain Shams University and several other Egyptian universities attended the event, reflecting the growing interest in the forum and the relevance of its scientific content.
The event also featured interactive question-and-answer sessions following each lecture, encouraging meaningful discussions between speakers and attendees. Participants took part in scientific quizzes, and winners were recognized with commemorative gifts, fostering an engaging and stimulating learning environment.
The successful organization of the forum, in coordination with the relevant departments within the Faculty and the University and supported by a dedicated organizing team, contributed to achieving its educational and training objectives.
