Ain Shams University Faculty of Dentistry Organizes Medical Convoy to Promote Community Health Awareness
As part of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector’s commitment at the Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University, to support community activities and enhance student participation in providing medical and awareness services, the Faculty organized a medical awareness convoy to serve the community. This initiative was implemented within the framework of cooperation between the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector and the Education and Student Affairs Sector at the Faculty.

The convoy was launched on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, to the Unify Center in the Ain Shams area, with the aim of raising awareness among children and beneficiaries about the importance of oral and dental health and providing essential preventive guidance to maintain good oral hygiene.
The convoy witnessed outstanding participation from dental interns, as well as students from final academic years and various levels across both academic programs. Students from the first and second years also participated, reflecting the Faculty’s commitment to early student engagement in community service activities. Faculty members and teaching assistants from the Pediatric Dentistry Department supervised the implementation of the convoy.
This activity builds upon the ongoing efforts of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, which had previously organized an awareness convoy on Tuesday, December 4, 2025, at the Special Needs Children Care Center in El-Zeitoun. The convoy saw active participation from Faculty students, who demonstrated a high level of commitment and enthusiasm.
The Sector continues its efforts to support health initiatives and community service programs, aiming to enhance health awareness and promote preventive practices among various community groups, with continued success in future convoys and initiatives.
