Based on the role of the Community Affairs and Environmental Development Sector at Ain Shams University in financing applied research at the university as one of the most important means that contribute to solving various community problems. Here he is adopting applied research in various fields that benefit the citizen, and then the entire Egyptian society in an attempt to treat the environmental problems of the environmental community that have emerged in recent years in Egypt: -

Industrial and technological fields: Applied research contributes to the use of natural resources to serve people and their purposes without wasting resources.

In the fields of health: Applied research contributes to knowing the methods of infection and spread of diseases and drawing the health map represents the cornerstone of making the most of the human element and avoiding more diseases in order to have a disease free society.

In economic and agricultural development, applied research contributes to the increase and development of the human mind in the development of new means to take advantage of natural resources and make optimal use of them. Thus, applied research contributes in all areas of environmental development. These researches are selected according to a set of rules and standards regulating the selection of applied research and according to the needs of society.

So that the application and implementation of these researches contribute to solving many of the problems that society faces, whether they are national, social or environmental, so that in recent years this research has an environmental impact that enables it to obtain:

Publication of applied research in one of the international or local journals.

Marketing applied research to benefit from it in the external community.

Obtaining a patent for applied research.
