International Student Affairs Office – Faculty of Dentistry
The International Student Affairs Office at the Faculty of Dentistry is dedicated to supporting international students throughout their entire academic journey. Our role begins from the application and admission process and continues through study years, graduation, and internship completion.
We work closely with students on a daily basis to ensure a smooth academic and social experience, providing guidance, assistance, and continuous support to help overcome any challenges that may arise.

Student Support & Daily Assistance
The International Student Affairs Office provides continuous daily support, including:
● Responding to student inquiries and requests.
● Offering guidance on academic, administrative, and personal matters.
● Assisting in resolving any obstacles or challenges students may face during their studies.
Academic Support Services
To ensure the highest quality of academic experience, the Faculty of Dentistry offers specialized academic support for international students, including:
● Dedicated Non-Arabic Speakers Classroom: Designed to support students who are non- Arabic speakers, ensuring clear communication and effective learning.
● Separate International Student Classrooms: These Classrooms are structured to provide focused academic attention, interactive learning, and maximum knowledge acquisition.
Academic Advising Unit
The Faculty provides a specialized Academic Advising Unit that supports international students in planning their academic pathway, understanding regulations, selecting courses, and addressing academic concerns. Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zain Al-Abedeen , President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Rami Maher, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and with the guidance of Prof. Dr. Kariem Al-Batouty, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and with the supervision of Prof. Dr. Reham Magdy Vice Dean for Education and student Affairs The Youth Care Administration of the Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University, in collaboration with the Student Union, organized a student day entitled "Gathering Day" for students from different degree years.
This event was organized as part of the Faculty commitment to supporting its students and providing an environment that helps alleviate academic pressure and enhance communication among them. The day included various recreational activities and pottery coloring workshops, also with the supervision of Dr. Reem El Tanaany Director of international office in the faculty of Dentistry activities were presented by international students showcasing different cultures, including a display of Sudanese students' products inspired by Sudanese heritage.
The event also featured the final match of a football tournament and the honoring of students who won the table tennis competition. Prof. Dr. Kariem Al-Batouty, the Dean of the Faculty , awarded medals and certificates of appreciation to the students who secured the first and second places.
The day was characterized by a positive atmosphere and noticeable interaction among students, contributing to joy and enhancing the spirit of participation and teamwork.
