Ain Shams University is a distinguished institution characterized by quality, in accordance with national standards across the fields of education, scientific research, community service, and environmental development. From this perspective, the Community Service and Environmental Affairs Sector was established, taking upon itself the responsibility of addressing the problems of the surrounding community and delivering outstanding community services that contribute to supporting the national economy. It aims to serve as a center of expertise and a cultural beacon inside and outside the university, striving to enhance local and international community and environmental engagement.

The sector also aims to elevate the competitive capacities of special-nature centers and units to develop the university's self-generated resources. Among its activities, the sector has organized several awareness campaigns in schools to combat smoking, addiction, and adolescent challenges.

Recognizing the demands of this stage and the importance of proper nutrition for building a healthy body, campaigns were organized across the campus, such as "Take Care, Your Life Matters," "Your Health is Your Wealth," and "Hand in Hand, Join Us." Furthermore, several comprehensive development convoys were dispatched to various governorates, including Ismailia and Faiyum, to foster capable citizens with strong intellect and productivity. The university has also signed several agreements and protocols to train students, equipping them with labor market skills and providing employment opportunities for graduates. The Environmental Sector has remained committed to raising awareness among students and staff by hosting a well-curated cultural season featuring experts and scholars from various disciplines. Additionally, an annual celebration is held to honor dedicated university members who fulfill their duties to the fullest, recognizing exemplary employees and staff. I extend my gratitude to my team in the Community Service and Environmental Affairs Sector for their praiseworthy efforts, wishing our dear university continued progress and prosperity.
