Center Activities:
First - the activities related to the Faculty:
The Information Systems Center participated in the 2023 International Conference on Smart Cities through the following:
The Center's Director, Prof. Hossam El-Din Hassan Abdel Moneim, participated in the arbitration of research papers.
The Center's technical team participated in providing 4G coverage for the conference halls due to the weak communications network in the conference halls. The Center also participated in the conference broadcast.
Participation in the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, as the Center is the faculty's arm in the field of information technology.
The Center conducts annual electronic coordination for high school students, receiving students and their parents in air-conditioned halls and equipped labs. Students' preferences are recorded on the coordination website.
The Center conducts electronic registration on the faculty website for new students and those accepted for transfer to higher grades.
The Information Systems Center participated in registering COVID-19 vaccine recipients on the Ministry of Health's systems.
Participated in the administrative work of the Computer and Systems Engineering Department Conference for 2019, 2020, and 2021.
The center manages the testing process for applicants for administrative positions. The center develops exams, prepares labs, supervises job applicants, and corrects exams.
Manages and operates the electronic attendance system, which records employee attendance using Face ID and links it to the faculty's electronic systems.
Manages and operates the IoT (Internet of Things) lab.
Second - Engineering Consulting:
Developed plans to develop the faculty's information technology.
The Center implemented a project to automate the operations of the Science and Technology Development Fund.
The Center implemented a project to develop websites for new universities (Galala University, King Salman International University, El Alamein International University, and New Mansoura University).
The Center participated as a consultant in the design and installation of electronic gate systems for the Egyptian Railways.
Participated in consulting work for Beshay Iron and Steel Company.
Third - Data Center and Infrastructure:
The Faculty's Information Systems Center manages the main data center, which hosts the servers and devices controlling the faculty's internet network.
The data center contains 10 servers hosting the systems used in the educational process, as well as the faculty's backup and internet control systems.
The center has developed the faculty's wireless internet network by installing new access points that operate using the latest available technology, and extending a new information network to all faculty buildings.

Fourth - Maintenance and Technical Support:
The Information Systems Center provides services to students, faculty staff, and employees at the faculty. The center resolves problems related to the following:
Maintaining computers for faculty staff and various departments at the faculty.
Resolving problems for students, faculty staff, and employees related to accessing the faculty’s educational and administrative systems.
Resolving problems related to attendance and departure systems.
Resolving problems related to email for all beneficiaries and all IT-related issues.
Fifth - Software Development:
The Center has built all systems related to the educational process at the faculty and operates and continuously develops them. The Center has a team of developers working to continuously develop systems related to educational management, including:

Students Information System (SIS)
Learning Management System (LMS)
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Sixth - Central Laboratories at the Faculty:
The Center manages and maintains the faculty's central laboratories. The faculty contains 14 central laboratories containing 250 computers.
