Objectives of the Unit:

Examination and diagnosis of histological specimens.

Providing specialized services for measuring materials used in and resulting from dental research, with fees determined in advance.

Issuing results of precision measurements and microscopic diagnostic reports, along with certified documentation.

Performing diagnostic radiography and issuing reports.

Conducting training courses on the use of precision measurement devices and participating in similar courses both inside and outside Egypt.

Achievements of the Unit:

Contributing to scientific research conducted by faculty members within and outside the faculty.

Providing services to dental material suppliers and companies to evaluate imported materials and those commonly used in dental treatment.

Offering consultations for various research projects that serve the environment.

Recently, advanced devices have been added to the Precision Measurements Unit, all operating at full capacity:

General mechanical property testing device

Thermal stress testing device

Acidity and alkalinity measurement device

These modern instruments have had a positive impact on the unit, enabling them to achieve a distinguished financial position during this period.
