Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, hosted the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities headed by Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Latif, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Adviser to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for University Affairs and the Presidents of Egyptian Universities, at the University’s Faculty of Science, followed by a breakfast attended by Prof. Muhammad Mukhtar Gomaa, Minister of Endowments, Dr. Ali Gomaa, the former Grand Mufti of Egypt, Prof. Saleh Hashem, the former president of the university, Prof. Ahmed Zaki Badr, Minister of Local Development and former President of the University, and the Vice-Presidents of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the deans of the Faculties of Ain Shams University.
