Television experts praise the graduation projects of Department of Media class of 2021

Department of Communication and Media Sciences, Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Heba Shaheen, hosted a distinguished elite of television specialists to judge the graduation projects of the fourth year students for the class of 2021, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty.

         
   
         

The Judgement comity of projects which are presented in the field of television included a number of the most prominent television figures, including: Mrs. Amira Salem, head of the news sector at the National Media Authority, Mr. Amr Abdeen, head of the drama channel at the National Media Authority, Mr. Ahmed Abdel Alim, Director General of International Nile Tourism Programs at the National Media Authority, and Mrs. Fatima Shaarawy, deputy editor-in-chief of Al-Ahram and head of the newspaper's radio and television department.

In the presence of Dr. Engy Fathi, teacher in the department and supervisor of the production of the Radio and Television Division, Mrs. Sarah Mohamed, assistant teacher in the department, Mrs. Hind Ali, assistant teacher in the department, Mrs. Aya Mounir, teaching assistant in the department and supervisors of TV graduation projects, Dr. Marwa Said, teacher of the department, Mrs. Mai Zayed, teaching assistant at the department, and Mrs. Esraa Mohammed teaching assistant department.

The graduation projects for the TV Division for the year 2021 included 9 documentaries: (Rabban, Olip, Wanas, Yaqoot, Ashet El-Asami, Elbossla, Ibram, Bain El-Setoor, Noob).

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, praised the media department’s excellence in media production festivals, praising the efforts of faculty staff, the assistants teaching, and their cooperation with students to produce purposeful and constructive graduation projects that confirm their mark on the media scene.

Prof. Dr. Heba Shaheen, stressed the excellence and diversity of the ideas of students' graduation projects in the field of television, especially that a number of films touch the human side, noting that the Department of Communication and Media Sciences at Ain Shams University confirms its merit every year with the efficiency of its students and graduates through their participation in media forums, and their access to the first positions in media production of various kinds.

         
   
         

Mrs. Amira Salem, Head of the News Sector, expressed her happiness with the quality and diversity of the films, stressing the merit of the students of the Media Department who overcame many difficulties to travel to many places to implement the ideas of graduation projects, pointing to the use of three films on the Nile News Channel.

Mr. Amr Abdeen, head of the drama channel, praised the diversity of ideas and ways to address them, which confirms the efficiency of the department's students that qualifies them to enhance the position of Ain Shams University media graduates in the media labor market.

Mr. Ahmed Abdel Alim, Director General of Tourism Programs at the International Nile, confirmed the superiority of the Media Department at Ain Shams University, and its presentation of different and distinct ideas and talents, which made him see a number of films more than once to distinguish them.

Mrs. Fatima Sharawy, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ahram, explained that the production presented by the students is one of the most distinguished projects over the past years, she saluted and appreciated their efforts and their apparent enthusiasm in producing projects.

The graduation project "Olip" presented memorial shields to: Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Heba Shaheen, Head of the Department of Communication and Media Sciences, and Prof. Dr. Sarah Mohamed, the project supervisor; In appreciation of their efforts and facilitating all avenues for them to produce a distinguished production worthy of the department.
