Achievements made by the study and research department during the academic year 2021/2022

First: Standing Committees and the Graduate Studies and Research Council

All memos with the topics indicated by Prof. Dr. Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research shall be returned to the administration. These notes are presented to the Standing Committee in the presence of members of the Standing Committee of the Faculties’ Vice Deans for Postgraduate Studies and Research to take appropriate decisions according to each student’s case. Then the Standing Committee is presented to the Graduate Studies and Research Council for approval by the Council in preparation for the approval of the Council by Prof. Dr. University's president.

For creating and amending regulations:

Letters are also received from the university’s faculties and institutes that include approval of creating or amending a list of postgraduate studies, along with a copy of the regulations or articles to be amended. The concerned employee prepares a note in preparation for presenting it to Prof. Dr. The Vice President of the University then presented it among the topics of the Standing Committee and then to the Council of Postgraduate Studies and Research for approval and presentation to the University Council in preparation for sending it to the Supreme Council of Universities.

After the decision is received in the "case of approval", the updated topic is sent to the Supreme Council of Universities to provide us with an opinion.

After receiving the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities, the concerned employee informs the concerned faculty.

And after the approval of the Graduate Studies and Research Council by Prof. Dr. University's president informs the faculties with a notification letter of the final decisions for students.

The councils of postgraduate studies were raised on the Shams system for the years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 until 3/2022

Second: General topics

Some external agencies such as (embassies - consulates - other universities -......) receive some inquiries regarding postgraduate studies.

The competent employee prepares the response to the inquiries for approval.

The competent employee sends the response to the external party after keeping a copy of the response.

Topics related to international students to inquire about statistics on their numbers comes to the administration according to each faculty, and the number of students enrolled, and to solve problems related to embassies and their residence.

Third: Writing records

Subjects of registration, cancellation of registration, exemptions, and change of research subject approved by Prof. Dr. Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research shall be submitted to the administration, and they are written in minutes in preparation for their approval by Prof. Dr. University's president.

After approval from Prof. Dr. President of the University, the topics are distributed to the concerned employee to inform the concerned faculties of the approval of the topics

The administration has bound the records for the years 2017/2018/2019/2020/2021

Fourth: Personnel affairs

The Personnel Affairs of the Department prepares attendance and absence statements for the Department's employees in order to send them to the competent authorities for the preparation of monthly salaries, annual bonuses, promotions, and the annual report.
