The Bachelor of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery (B.D.S) is a 5-year program plus 1-year internship designed to provide students with a strong foundation in dental science and clinical practice. This program integrates theoretical coursework, laboratory training, and extensive clinical exposure to prepare graduates for the challenges of modern dentistry.

Students will gain proficiency in:

Patient examination and diagnosis.

Treatment planning and execution of dental procedures.

Communication and professional ethics.

Critical thinking and problem-solving in clinical settings.

Who can apply?

Applicants must hold the Egyptian General Secondary Education Certificate (Scientific section) or an equivalent recognized qualification (e.g., American Diploma, French Baccalaureate, IGCSE) approved by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education.

Additional requirements:

English proficiency test (TOEFL/IELTS or equivalent) verified by Egyptian authorities

Medical fitness examination

Six recent passport-sized photographs

Application Timeline

Applications open in August each year. Admissions are issued upon receipt of the official nomination from the National Tanseeq Office.
