As part of the academic visits to the Zafaran Museum ,
the Zafran Museum at Ain Shams University was honored today to welcome Dr. Haytham Eid, Director of the Master's Program in Museum Studies at the University of New Orleans, on his first visit to the museum. He was received by the museum director, Dr. Walaa El-Din Badawi, and the museum curators.
During the tour, he expressed his great pleasure at the archaeological exhibits and rare collections he saw, emphazing the educational and awareness-raising role played by the museum for the university and its visitors.
He also expressed his admiration for the efforts of the museum team in the museum display, presentation methods, scientific and museum explanations and interpretations, emphasizing that the visit was a rich opportunity to learn about the history and heritage of Egypt, both ancient and modern.
