Rashad Raouf, is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Statistics, Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University. He is serving as an IT Manager in the Faculty of Business Ain Shams University since 2018. He received the M.SC. degree in Statistic. His research interest lies in the area of Statistics and Machine Learning, ranging from theory to data analysis. Rashad worked as an academic advisor in English credit hour system unit from 2016-2019. He has collaborated actively with researchers in many other disciplines of Social Science, particularly Economic, Accounting and Finance. His current research project focus on figuring out the impact of shifting from p-value to Bayes Factor on scientific research results. Rashad had co-authored two journal publications. He is co-author of Parametric and non-parametric statistical techniques to investigate fisheries data in lake Nasser Egypt in 2013 and the recent publication is 'Feature Selection using Parametric and Non-Parametric Methods: Tag SNPs Selection using GA-SVM and GA-KNN' in 2015. He started working as a demonstrator in 2006 and since then he is teaching the subjects related to statistics and mathematics. He has contributed in organizing the workshop of Egyptian knowledge bank in the faculty of Business in 2018 and 2019. He has attended training courses such as the Academic writing, international publishing, using technology in teaching, Scientific Research Ethics and presentation skills. These courses have affected Rashad’s skills and knowledge that are related to personal interactions and information technology.
