Mohammed Rabie Nasser Award for Scientific Research

Nominations are now open for the eighth edition of the Mohammed Rabie Nasser Award for 2025

Based on the announcement from the Scientific Committee of the Mohamed Rabie Nasser Award regarding the opening of applications for the eighth edition of the award (for the year 2025), Ain Shams University announces an invitation to faculty staff with distinguished academic output to participate in the nomination process. This is in light of the university's interest in supporting researchers, appreciating their scientific efforts, and encouraging them to contribute to serving the community and achieving sustainable development goals. • First – Medical Sciences

Award value: EGP 250,000 + Certificate of Appreciation

• Second – Advanced Materials Sciences and Nano Applications

Award value: EGP 200,000 + Certificate of Appreciation

• Third – Applied Engineering Sciences for Modernizing Egyptian Industry

Award value: EGP 200,000 + Certificate of Appreciation

• Fourth – Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence

Award value: EGP 200,000 + Certificate of Appreciation

• Fifth – New and Renewable Energy

Award value: EGP 200,000 + Certificate of Appreciation

• Sixth – Agriculture and Food Security

Award value: EGP 200,000 + Certificate of Appreciation

General Eligibility Requirements

• The award is open to Egyptian and Arab scientists and researchers working in universities, research centers, and various scientific institutions.

• Distinguished scientific output published in peer-reviewed scientific journals or patents with a clear impact in the specified fields are required. • Scientific production must be directly related to solving societal problems or support sustainable development.

• The work must not have received an award or degree from a donor for the same work within the last five years.

• Applications for more than one award are not permitted in the same cycle, and nominations from previous winners are not accepted. Deadline for applications and nominations: September 1, 2025.
