The Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah has announced the opening of nominations for the Sharjah Award for Linguistic and Lexical Studies in its fifth round 2022, as part of its scientific plan aimed at promoting the Arabic language and expanding the circle of interest in linguistic and lexical studies.
The award aims to support research and intellectual production in the field of linguistic and lexical studies, and to contribute to highlighting the cognitive aspects related to the Arabic language within a sober and value-added framework. It also aims to encourage researchers and those interested to direct their intellectual and research activity to topics that concern the future of the Arabic language and its related sciences.
The Sharjah award for Linguistic and Lexical Studies opens candidacy for researchers in its fifth session 2022 by submitting research in two main and specific themes, namely:
• The first theme: stylistic studies in the analysis of the Qur’anic discourse
• The second theme: the specialized dictionary in arts and sciences
