Dr. Sayed Karam Ramadan Emam Dahroug
Biography
Sayed K. Ramadan was born in Cairo, Egypt. He was awarded the Ain Shams Incentive Award in Basic Science in 2023. He is Topic Editor and Review Editor at Frontiers in Chemistry journal. Also, he is Editor of Advances in Tropical Medicine journal. He has 57 articles published in well-reputed international journals. His h-index is 26 on Scopus website. He is a certified peer reviewer at PUBLONS Academy and achieved the course 'Focus on Peer Review' at Springer Nature. He supervised 11 MSc and PhD theses inside and outside the university. He refereed two PhD theses in Chemistry. He has a lot of collaborations with many researchers inside and outside the country. His publications deal with the synthesis of valuable compounds aimed at treating different cancer, viral, and microbial diseases. He received a BSc in Chemistry (Excellent with honor) in 2008 from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University. He was awarded his Master's Degree in Science in Chemistry in 2013 from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University. He was awarded his PhD degree in 2017 in Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University. He was awarded a certificate for the best PhD thesis in Science in 2017. He currently works at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He does researches in Organic, Medicinal, and Computational Chemistry. He received ASU International Publications Awards from 2016 till now. He attended many workshops and courses in many fields to develop his scientific and communication skills.
