Biography


Below is a brief summary Ahmed Samir IBRAHIM, PhD, MD, EBCR Dr. Ahmed Samir IBRAHIM is a cardiovascular radiologist, Professor and head of advanced cardiac imaging unit (including cardiac CT, congenital heart and cardiac MR imaging) program at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. Dr IBRAHIM is an experienced lecturer for postgraduate & MD students and is an active speaker in north Africa and middle east where he has been invited to give more than 100 presentations. He has trained more than 50 fellows in cardiovascular imaging. He is also a Co-Researcher and principal investigator (PI) on numerous international studies and has 49 publications mostly in cardiovascular imaging fields and more than 243 citations, 7218 reads (H index of 12 - Research interest score 196.2, 250 citations). He is also a cardiovascular imaging reviewer at Egyptian Journal of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine (Springer Open) (reviewed more than 100 cardiac articles till this date) and member of Egyptian and European societies of cardiovascular radiology (EgSCR and ESCR) https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=en&user=uDRTT98AAAAJ Dr IBRAHIM MD in general Radiology was from France (Lyon) on 2005, this was followed by training programs in cardiovascular imaging in both Germany (Erlanger) and USA (MIH, St Louis, Missouri). Dr IBRAHIM is also certified EBCR (European Board of Cardiovascular Radiology).
