Biography
Sabry M. Youssef is a Professor of Vegetable Crops in the Horticulture Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University in Egypt. B.Sc in Horticulture (1992)/Horticulture Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt; M.Sc in Vegetable Crops (1997)/Horticulture Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt; M.Sc in Plant Breeding (2005)/International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM), Spain; Ph.D in Vegetable Crops (2006)/ Horticulture Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt; Ph.D in Sciences (2007)/Plant Biology Department, Málaga University, Málaga, Spain. In addition, he pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at Murcia University, Murcia, Spain in 2011 for one year and also for 6 months at Polytechnical University of Cartagena, Spain. His areas of interest are biotechnology (Tissue culture, and genetic transformation), physiology, breeding and production of vegetable crops.
