Ain Shams Incentive Award

Ain Shams University grants its Encouragement Awards for 2026 to young researchers who are no more than 40 years of age as of December 31, 2026. The awards are intended for members of the junior academic staff (demonstrators and assistant lecturers), as well as lecturers and associate professors at the University who have published scientific research, with no fewer than five publications in their field of specialization, in addition to scientific activities and community contributions.

The University allocates a total of 10 Encouragement Awards across five fields, as follows:

The University grants 10 Encouragement Awards in the following fields:

1- Basic Sciences (Two Awards): One award in the various fields of basic sciences and one award in advanced technological sciences serving the fields of basic sciences.

2- Agricultural Sciences (Two Awards): One award in the various fields of agricultural sciences and one award in advanced technological sciences serving the fields of agricultural sciences.

3- Medical Sciences (Two Awards): One award in the various fields of medical sciences and one award in advanced technological sciences serving the fields of medical sciences.

4- Engineering Sciences (Two Awards): One award in the various fields of engineering sciences and one award in advanced technological sciences serving the fields of engineering sciences.

5- Social Sciences and Humanities (Two Awards).

Awards value:

The net value of the award is EGP 25,000, in addition to a Certificate of Appreciation.

• A recent employment status statement confirming that no disciplinary penalties have been imposed.
• Justification for nomination.
• Nomination letter approved by the Faculty.

• Two recent personal photographs.

Deadlines for Submission of Nomination Files:

Deadline for submitting approved and complete nomination files that meet all requirements and are forwarded by the University’s faculties:

Thursday, December 17, 2026, at the General Administration of Scientific Research, Administration Building, behind Zafaran Palace.

Final deadline for nominations for all University Awards:

Thursday, December 31, 2026.
