The Nursing administration Department is one of the most important departments in the faculty. Also, the nursing administration is an umbrella of other specialty of nursing career and education. The establishment of the department in 1980. Since the beginning of its inception, the position of head of the department has been held by some great leaders and professors starting from Prof. Dr. Fatma Hamdy is the first president of this department, Prof. Dr. Suhair Hassanein, Prof. Dr. Samia Adam and finally Prof. Dr. Mona Mustafa Shazly. The benefits of the department are developing the effective nursing leadership and management skills for all academic students and professional contexts, learn to think critically across variety of subjects –focusing an informed, independent worldview related nursing administration and leadership. The nursing administration degrees master's and PhD in the field of nursing administration as well as various diplomas in hospital administration and human resource development also offers workshops in various topics and new trends in hospital administration . In addition, the department staff who supervises the nurse interns and participates in teaching specialized courses in Bachelor of Nursing and Postgraduate programs.

The mission of the Nursing Administration Department is to provide a degree of higher and vocational education in nursing administration. Baccalaureate Program Management is preparing for access to the practice of nursing administration, the postgraduate program is a graduate of advanced practice. Graduates of this section will be professionals able to withstand current leadership and healthcare roles, in different locations
