Job Description for the Director of the Education Development Center
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Review and update the center’s protocol.
- Form the center’s members.
- Design training needs assessment forms for faculty members, assistants, and administrative staff in the college.
- Prepare the annual training execution plan according to identified needs.
- Hold periodic meetings with center members to discuss the center’s plan and distribute work among the members.
- Participate in implementing some of the center's training courses.
- Coordinate with various units and departments inside and outside the college to participate in implementing training programs according to the college’s rules and regulations.
- Monitor and review the execution of the plan and training programs continuously.
- Prepare a consolidated report on the center’s activities and submit it to the relevant authorities at the college.
- Supervise the preparation of the center’s documents and files and keep them.
- Monitor ongoing maintenance work at the center and coordinate with the relevant authorities for it.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Provide the center and trainers with necessary tools and supplies through the relevant authorities at the college.

- Prepare correspondence related to the assigned training program.
- Coordinate with academic departments and various administrative offices for participation in training programs.
- Attend meetings with the center’s director to discuss training and administrative matters at the center.
