The Center for Middle East Research and Future Studies was established in February 12, 1967 as a scientific center, and it was restructured and the research department was established in it and expanded its fields of work; The Research Department plays a major role in community service, as a multidisciplinary department that aims primarily to support Middle Eastern studies issues in all their forms; Individual, collective, temporary and permanent, with different causes, whether economic or political; As well as the most important social issues at the national, regional and global levels; He became interested in studying political and strategic issues in an integrated manner, with a focus on issues of development in the international system, and patterns of interaction between Arab countries and the global system in which we live or between it and the surrounding regional framework, or between each other, in addition to not neglecting the study of Egyptian society from various political, economic, social, and cultural aspects, through making strategic reports, where the Research Department of the Middle East Research Center and future studies relies on different methods and multiple systems, through educational courses, seminars and conferences, in line with the basic mission of the university and its commitment to provide a kind of education and research on the most important issues of society, in both Egypt and the Middle East.
