About Our R&D Department

The Research and Development (R&D) Department at ASU-iHub serves as the powerhouse of innovation within Ain Shams University. We are dedicated to transforming academic excellence into industrial impact. By bridging the gap between theoretical research and market needs, we empower students, researchers, and industrial partners to co-create high-tech solutions.

Our department focuses on high-impact sectors, including Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Sustainable Agriculture, and Digital Transformation. We don't just research; we build, test, and implement functional prototypes that solve real-world industrial challenges, driving the national agenda for localized manufacturing and technological leadership.

Objectives of the R&D Department

Smart Agricultural Autonomous Vehicle

Designing and executing a smart Autonomous Vehicle prototype for operational monitoring and problem detection within industrial and farming environments.

Developing an AI-driven machine using Computer Vision for automated quality control on production lines to replace manual operation.

Designing and building a 3D-printed simulation model of the factory to train students on engineering design and industrial simulation
