Developing work in the oral, facial, jaw and prosthetic surgery unit as this unit contained only one operating room in the old building in addition to 2 dental units for micro-operations.

The unit now has 3 operating rooms equipped with the latest technology of anesthesia devices, surgical microscopy, patient horizon room, medium care unit, as well as 11 patient beds and a doctors' break. The unit also has 4 clinics that accommodate 8 dental units for local subanaesthetic oral surgery and a sterilization unit.

The unit has a large number of patients per day and some patients are treated on a nominal basis and some are treated free of charge due to their physical circumstances that do not permit it.

These modern devices reflected well on the unit and achieved a distinct financial position in this period.
