أ. د. عبدالمنعم احمد زكي احمد
نبذه عن
Prof. Dr. Abdelmonem Ahmed Zaki Ahmed Ali is a Professor of Greek and Latin Studies in the Department of Civilization and Ancient European Languages at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University. He specializes in the Greek language and computational linguistics. He earned his PhD with first-class honors for a computational study of Ptolemy’s Lexicon and has made significant contributions to the fields of artificial intelligence and digital humanities. He has held several administrative positions, including Coordinator for Ain Shams University in the National Reading Project under the Supreme Council of Universities, Director of the Computer Unit, and Director of the Credit-Hour Registration Unit, in addition to membership in numerous academic and research committees. He serves as a reviewer on the Scientific Committee for evaluating scholarly output for the promotion of Professors and Associate Professors in the fields of Greek, Latin, Italian, German, Russian, and Spanish languages and literature (15th cycle, 2025–2028). Prof. Dr. Abdelmonem has participated in prestigious international conferences and has authored several publications in Arabic and English, most notably the trilingual Hyamos Lexicon. His research focuses on language computing, discourse analysis, and Greek literature, with active contributions to developing methods for teaching ancient languages using artificial intelligence tools.
