Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh El-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Shouki, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Supervisor of the Community Affairs and Environmental Development Sector.

Dr. Mamdouh El-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty and Editor-in-Chief, announced the opening of the door to submitting scientific research for the Journal of the Center for Papyrological Studies and Inscriptions, Issue No. 39 of 2022. It is worth noting that the journal has been evaluated by journals in the Supreme Council of Universities on 7 degrees since 2018 to date, and it has also succeeded in achieving Arcif factor accreditation standards are compatible with 32 global standards, which are available on the Egyptian Knowledge Bank website.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Shouki, Editor-in-Chief, stated that the Journal of the Center for Papyrus Studies and Inscriptions is issued by the Center for Papyrus Studies and Inscriptions, which was established in 1980, and is one of the most important centers specialized in papyrus studies and inscriptions, and it is the first center in the Middle East in this field. The Egyptian script from papyrus, lakhaf, inscriptions, and others, dating back to ancient and medieval times, so this interest includes the writings and languages ​​of these media from hieroglyphics, hieratic, demotic, Coptic, Greek, Latin, Aramaic, Hebrew, and Arabic, and in 2020 the center joined the Faculty of Archeology, Ain Shams University.

Prof. Dr. Noha Salem, Head of the Department of Greek and Roman Archeology and Director of the Center for Papyrus Studies and Inscriptions stated that the magazine is issued annually, and thirty-eight issues have been issued so far, and it is one of the first specialized journals that the founder of the Center sought. Dr. Abdullah Al-Muslimi has obtained an international filing numbering since 1982, and the work is continuing to achieve more achievements so that this specialized magazine will be a beacon for science and scholars.
