This was followed by the representation of Egypt at the International Cancer Control Meetings, organized by the International Alliance of Cancer Patients (ICPC) in cooperation with the United Nations at its headquarters and the presence of the President of the International Agency for Cancer Research (IARC) Dr. Elizabeth Federbass.

He presented the Egyptian national cancer strategy, based on the pillars of the World Health Organization (WHO GCBI) initiative and how the Egyptian model succeeded in achieving its goals and improving patient outcomes, making it an inspiring experience that can be utilized globally.

Global progress in the face of cancer requires innovation, scientific research, collaboration, solidarity, justice and a shared vision, leveraging on scientific advancements and the deployment of AI in scientific research, alongside bold policies, action partnerships, and sustainable funding to ensure fair access to treatment, especially in low- and middle-income countries.

The week ended with a joint side event between the International Cancer Alliance (ICC) and the American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO) under the theme "Bridging the gap in access to cancer care." Participate in the event, some of them are:
