Vision and Mission
The unit seeks to provide outstanding and comprehensive psychological, educational, and counseling support to college students to develop their capabilities and skills and build a creative generation capable of facing challenges. This is done while promoting psychological and professional well-being for faculty members and administrative staff as well, and providing a safe environment to enhance the quality of academic and personal life for all.
Unit Objectives
1. Developing Awareness and Mental Health: Spreading mental health awareness, encouraging individuals to seek help, and providing them with balance and positive support.
2. Student Self-Growth: Helping students understand themselves, discover and develop their capabilities, and set goals for their lives.
3. Enhancing Adjustment and Skills: Boosting self-confidence and the ability to adapt to various circumstances, and holding preventive workshops for skill development.
4. Problem Solving and Specialized Support: Studying psychological and behavioral problems that impede students' adjustment, and providing specialized individual counseling sessions.
5. Confidentiality and Medical Referral: Maintaining the confidentiality of student information, and referring cases that require specialized psychiatric medical care to the relevant centers.
