تنمية القدرات الفكرية والنقدية لخريجي برنامج ليسانس اللغة الإنجليزية وآدابها بنظام الساعات المعتمدة بكلية الآداب بجامعة عين شمس من خلال تقديم مقررات متطورة تتسق مع التحولات الرقمية والإبداعية في مجال التعليم والبحث العلمي، بغرض تمكين الخريجين من خوض الحياة ما بعد الجامعية وخدمة المجتمع وتجهيزهم للمشاركة في الحياة العملية على الصعيد المحلي والإقليمي والدولي.
English Language and Literature Credit Hour Program Mission Statement
The English Language and Literature Credit Hour Program, Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, builds the intellectual and critical capacities of graduates through up-to-date syllabi abreast with the digital and innovative changes in education and research to enable graduates to serve their community and to be active members of diverse professional communities locally, regionally and internationally.
أهداف البرنامج:
1-إكساب الطلاب المعارف وأساسيات الآداب باللغة الإنجليزية والآداب الإنجليزية ومختلف أنواع النقد والدراسات الثقافية بفروعها، مع الارتقاء بمهاراتهم العلمية والمعرفية المرتبطة بالأدب واللغة.
2-اكتساب الطلاب المعارف والأساسيات المرتبطة بمجال اللغويات والارتقاء بمهاراتهم العلمية والمعرفية المرتبطة باللغويات.
3-اكتساب الطلاب المعارف والأساسيات والمهارات المتصلة بالترجمة بين اللغة العربية واللغة الإنجليزية.
4-تمكين الطلاب من استخدام اللغة الإنجليزية فضلا عن لغتهم الأم (العربية) بكفاءة.
5- إكساب الطلاب أساسيات اللغة الأجنبية الثانية وتطبيقها (الفرنسية والألمانية).
6-تمكين الطلاب من استخدام تكنولوجيا المعلومات في جمع البيانات وتحليلها وعرضها في مجال تخصصات القسم.
7-تحسين مهارات الاتصال لدى الطلاب باللغة الإنجليزية واللغة العربية باستخدام وسائل متعددة (الشفهية والكتابية والسمعية والبصرية)
8-التميز والإبداع والابتكار فضلاً عن ترك أثر إيجابي على المجتمع المحلي.
9-إعداد خريجين وباحثين ذوي قدرة على التعلم المستمر ومواكبة متطلبات التحول الرقمي.
Program Goals:
1.Supporting students acquire knowledge and fundamentals of English literatures, different concepts of criticism and cultural studies, and honing scientific and cognitive skills related to literature and language;
2.Supporting students acquire knowledge and fundamentals of the field of linguistics and honing scientific and cognitive skills related to linguistics;
3.Supporting students acquire knowledge, fundamentals, and skills of translation between Arabic and English;
4.Enabling students acquire proficiency in the English language in addition to the mother tongue (Arabic);
5.Enabling students to use and apply the basics of a second foreign language (French/German);
6.Enabling students to use ICT to collect, analyze, and present data in the respective fields of specialization within the department;
7.Improving communication skills among students in both English and Arabic using different means (oral, written, and audiovisual);
8.Supporting students become highly qualified, creative, innovative, and capable of leaving a positive sustainable impact on the community; and
9.Supporting students become graduates and researchers capable of lifelong learning and to have an aptitude for digitalization.
