The ceremony was inaugurated by Prof. Rasha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of Prof. Yasser El-Qadi, former Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Mahmoud Badawi, Advisor to the Minister for Digital Transformation, Prof. Essam Khalifa, Head of the Computing and Information Sector Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities and former Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Mohamed Roshdy, Secretary of the Scientific Committee for Academic Staff Evaluation at the Supreme Council, Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Hamad, President of the University of Informatics, Prof. Tarek Gharib, Dean of the Faculty of Computers at Canadian University of Al-Ahram, Prof. Hala Mosheer, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Sherine Radi, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, department heads, international program coordinators, faculty members, university council members, administrative staff, and students’ families.

In her speech, Prof. Rasha Ismail congratulated the students and their families, celebrating the fruits of years of hard work, perseverance, and overcoming challenges. She emphasized that graduation marks the end of an academic stage and the beginning of a professional journey in a rapidly changing world led by technology and knowledge. She encouraged graduates to take pride in graduating from a prestigious faculty accredited nationally and internationally, noting that some programs are internationally accredited, reflecting the faculty’s global, regional, and local recognition.

Prof. Rasha Ismail also celebrated the first graduates of the Dual Degree Robotics Computing Program and highlighted the faculty’s ten distinguished programs, including four main programs and six specialized programs: Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Digital Multimedia, Bioinformatics, and Robotics Computing. She thanked the previous administration, led by Prof. Nagwa Badr, former Dean, for their contributions, and acknowledged the faculty, staff, and administrative team for their continuous support.

A pre-recorded video message was delivered by Dr. Erish Sidiqi, Director of International Relations at the University of East London, congratulating graduates and their families, relaying the best wishes of Prof. Hassan Abdullah, President of the University of East London, and Prof. Paul Marshall, Vice President, emphasizing that success requires perseverance and hard work, and praising the academic partnership between Ain Shams University and the University of East London.

Eng. Mahmoud Badawy, Advisor to the Minister for Digital Transformation and a 2005 graduate, addressed the students, highlighting the importance of learning, innovation, and seizing opportunities in a fast-paced technological market where demand for graduates exceeds supply.
Prof. Essam Khalifa praised the graduates’ achievements and participation in numerous activities and announced that a computing alumni association is being established. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Roshdy highlighted the faculty’s success in local and international software competitions. Eng. Haitham Herras, CEO of Penta-B, shared an inspiring success story as one of the faculty’s distinguished alumni.
The ceremony included speeches by student representatives, honoring top graduates and master’s and PhD degree holders, a film showcasing the journey of the Class of 2025, memorable stories, and photo sessions with graduates. The event concluded with a musical performance by the Arabic Harmony Choir, generating enthusiastic audience participation.
