The activities of the workshop “Your project is not just an idea”, which was organized by the Social Solidarity Unit at the university in partnership with the Faculty of Education, concluded within the framework of the protocol signed between the Ministry of Solidarity and Ain Shams University, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and Prof. Dr. Salah Hashem, Advisor to the Minister of Solidarity, which was opened by Prof. Dr. Jihan Ragab, Professor of Marketing at the Faculty of Commerce and Advisor to the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Alaa El-Din Abdel Halim Mohamed Farag, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Community Service and Environmental Development, and was attended by a large number of university faculties students.

The workshop also included the coordination and implementation team from the University's Social Solidarity Unit: which includes: Mrs. Reham Abdel Rahman, unit coordinator, Mrs. Esraa Maher, Social Protection and Economic Empowerment Officer, as well as Mr. Mohamed Abdel-Wahab, responsible for awareness-raising activities, and a large number of volunteers from the Social Solidarity Unit at the university.

Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud presented the workshop’s themes, which included fourteen theme, revolving around introducing the concept of small projects and how to choose the project idea, as well as the keys to developing and transforming the idea into an opportunity, skills for transforming the idea into a project opportunity, and other important topics. The workshop took place within the framework of: Active student interaction and participation. At the end of the workshop, students who had ideas or experiences for small projects were given an opportunity to present those useful experiences, from various faculties of the university, including the student Tasneem Sabri Muhammad, who presented her small project in the field of commerce, as well as the student Abdul Rahman Bakir, who presented his project proposal And the procedural steps that he and a team of his colleagues took, which achieved outstanding success, and he was keen to attend the workshop to learn more experiences.

The student Sarah Wael presented the idea of ​​her project on dubbing and how to reach a distinguished level in this field. The student Samar Bahaa El-Din also presented her small project on decoration and continuous improvement of her experiences. The student, Rowaida Ahmed, presented her small project on marketing, and the student Nazik Abdel Nabi presented her small project in the application of Pedagogical curriculum in a project to educate children.

The student, Amani Alaa Yaqoub, also presented her small project on recycling, and the student Hager Muhammad Anwar presented her small project, which includes the work of a team for purposeful singing.

At the conclusion of the workshop, many memorial photos were taken with all students, and thanks were given to all efforts from the university and its full support in continuing student excellence in managing small projects, working for community service, environmental development, and active participation in raising capabilities and skills, which Ain Shams University contributes to their full support to achieve its leading role in community service and environmental development.
