Scholars and professors of Ain Shams University receive state discretionary, incentive, excellence and pioneers awards

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, announced the winners of the state of discretionary, incentive and excellence awards for 2017. Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, stressed the importance of appreciating the scientists. He pointed out that the awards are considered one of the means of encouraging scientists, and that Egypt is one of the first countries to encourage science and scientists to continue research, innovation and development.

This came during his speech at the meeting of the Board of Scientific Research and Technology Academy at its 171st session, in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Sakr, President of the Academy and members of the board where scientists and professors of Ain Shams University received the following awards:

State discretionary Award for Advanced Science and Technological Sciences, 2017, in the field of Medical Sciences, Dr. Osama Ahmed Mohamed Ali Badari, Professor at Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University.

Dr. Maha Nasr Sayed, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, received the State incentive Award in Science and Advanced Technological Sciences in 2017 in the field of advanced technological sciences serving the fields of medical sciences. In the field of engineering sciences, Dr. Marwan Mohamed Tarek Mostafa Shadid, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, received the State incentive Award.

Prof. Dr. Adel Mohamed Mahmoud Ahmed Awad, Professor at Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, received the State award for Excellence in Science and Advanced Technological Sciences, 2017

While the winner of the Pioneer in Engineering Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hamid Mohamed Sherah, Professor Emeritus Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University.
