Allocation of 3200 meters for the establishment of an independent building of Confucius Institute at Ain Shams University

Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University, said that the university administration allocated 3200 square meters of land to establish an independent building for Confucius Institute in the university, with its headquarters next to Al Alsun Faculty in the second campus of the university.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat said that the building will consist of 4 floors and will be designed in Chinese style and will be attached to a large Chinese garden.

He added that the Department of Chinese Language of Al-Alsun Faculty is one of the oldest scientific departments specialized in teaching the Chinese language, which graduated professors and experts in all fields.

Mr. Song Bo pointed to the importance of this step taken by Ain Shams University in spreading Chinese culture and creating better opportunities for communication and exchange of civilizations.

Dr. Esraa Abdel-Sayed said that Ain Shams University has sought to achieve this dream 14 years ago, stressing that the inauguration of a semester of the Confucius Institute within an educational, academic and research edifice with a good international reputation such as Ain Shams University is an important event in all international scientific circles.

She praised the efforts of the university administration headed by Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, which was very influential in the activation of this agreement.

Chinese language teachers and students expressed their joy at this important event, chanting slogans in Chinese language expressing their pride in belonging to Ain Shams University.
