The decisions of Ain Shams University

The Council of Ain Shams University believes that it is the locomotive of development because of its pioneering role in guiding the society and the different sectors in the country to achieve the highest possible efficiency rates. University Council has agreed in its meeting in February under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, President of the University and in the presence of the Vice-Presidents of the University, the deans of the faculties, the Secretary General of the University and the Assistant Secretaries of the Center for the development of projects, innovation and intellectual property on the establishment of the Valley of Innovation and Science of the University to be a real supporter to stimulate economic growth and create job opportunities for young graduates.

The Council also adopted the executive summary of the strategic plan for the University 2018-2025 to be launched at the seventh scientific conference of the university and this year under the title of "Internationalization and Mobilization), which is scheduled to be held from April 2-5 next, where a team of faculty members specialists in the strategic planning of the faculties of the university and under the supervision of the Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation at the university and includes the plan "the vision of the university, its purpose, values, mission and priorities."

The Council also agreed, with respect to the university faculties, on the following:

The establishment of the Human Genetics Department, which includes all genetics activities in the faculty,

The establishment of the department of quality health care at the faculty,

The Council also approved the establishment of a Master's degree in Psychiatry for Adolescent Children in collaboration between the Departments of Neurosurgery, Psychiatry and Pediatrics, the Division of Slavic Languages at the Faculty of Al-Alsun to the Russian Language Division and the Czech Language Division and the fourth Animal Care Division of the Animal Production Division at Faculty of Agriculture.
