A workshop to develop the skills of the administrative system at Ain Shams University

Prof. Dr. Majed Abu El-Enin, Undersecretary of the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, opened a workshop entitled "Developing the Skills of Administrative System in Egyptian Universities" organized by the Office of Communication and International Cooperation at the Faculty of Education in cooperation with the German Scientific Exchange Authority (DAAD).

In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Majid Abu Al-Enen stressed that the efficiency of the administrative system enhances the institutional capacity of any institution, which Ain Shams University is keen on achieving the optimum utilization of each individual in its position and supports the strategic plan of the university as a competitive educational and research institution.

Dr. Ehab Lotfy, Assistant Secretary for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs at the University, pointed out the importance of investing the capacities of the administrative staff as the administrative system is characterized by young and distinguished competencies and ambition. He also stressed on the need to develop the skills of foreign languages, which opens the prospect of obtaining scholarships abroad and helps in developing the system of work within the university and raising the international classification of Egyptian universities.

Dr. Rasha Kamal, Director of the Office of Communication and International Cooperation, pointed to the importance of this workshop in making individuals creative actors away from the administrative routine and praised the participation and interaction of a number of administrators at the universities of Assiut, Al-Azhar, Zagazig and the American University.
