Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research received Dr. Roman luxter, director of the German Agency Office of Academic Exchange DAAD and his accompanying delegation.
The two sides reviewed the outcome of the fruitful cooperation between the University and the German body, where Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat praised the scientific programs and training courses provided by the Regional Office in Cairo, which benefited nearly 200 participants from the teaching staff and ancillary staff members. Ain Shams University is the largest university in Egypt that benefited from grants from the German body.
It also reviewed opportunities for international cooperation office staff of the Faculty of Education to take advantage of training programs.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat announced the intention of the university to establish an international cooperation to serve the university community and to provide opportunities for academic, scientific and cultural cooperation between the University and the Offices of the various international bodies.
Prof. Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar added that international cooperation office will be the liaison between the university and foreign bodies and a network of communication between graduates of German universities with Ain Shams University.
