Life through the Universe The first student activity specialized in space science in Faculty of Engineering

The students of "Astronomy Club - Ain Shams" announced the organization of a student conference entitled "Life through the Universe" under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Dean of the Faculty. In the presence of engineer Essam Jouda, President of the Egyptian Society for Astronomy, and gives a lecture on astronomy in general and its importance and impact on our lives, Dr. Shady Abdel Hafez is a pharmacist and founder of the Astronomy Amateur Club in the Delta and a scientific editor in more than one magazine and a scientific site and gives a lecture about the possibility of life outside the earth and how to find it, Dr. Hani Hamroush, Associate Professor, Department of Geology and Geochemistry of the American University, discusses the geology relationship with life and the geological signs we are looking for as evidence of extraterrestrial life. Dr. Hisham Salam Assistant Professor, Department of Geology Mansoura University and founder of the Mansoura University Center for excavations known as the discovery of Mansour Asurus and talk about the emergence of life on earth and its development and the era of pre-human. The conference will be at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, 28 August at the conference hall of the Saudi German Hospital in Cairo.

The students explained that Astronomy Club - Ain Shams is a non-profit student activity founded at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University in 2015, with the aim of creating a conscious society for those interested in astronomy and science.  As well as developing the personality and skills of different participation by participating in the presentation and work of various activities and activities in the club.

Despite the presence of the club's headquarters at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, the Astronomy Club-Ain Shams includes students from different universities, colleges and schools, and aims to reunite astronomy lovers by spreading knowledge of astronomy and correcting misconceptions about it in Egyptian society. Through the various activities offered by the club, such as scientific conferences that include a selection of professors and specialists in the Egyptian society, simple scientific lectures in universities and cultural places such as El Sawy Culture wheel to explain the various topics in astronomy, Stardust magazine is one of the few magazines specializing in astronomy in sucking , astronomical trips to monitor the sky and various astronomical events.
