Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ashraf al-Shehhi , Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat President of Ain Shams University , Faculty of Arts organizes the annual International Conference of the faculty entitled: "Women and Future Industry " on 3.4 April at Triumph hotel at Heliopolis.
Prof. Dr. Suzan Keliny , dean of the faculty and media adviser to the university president and rappetor scheduled for the Information Committee of the National Council for Women and the President of the Conference: "The conference comes in response to the announcement by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi 2017- woman year, and pointed out that the conference will discuss over two days across the four axes of a number of issues the task of concern to women, first and role of women in Arab societies in the modern era. Second, women between the Arab spring and political future, Third: women and the development of educational and scientific institutions, Fourth: women and building community institutions.
The conference includes workshops including women in contemporary Arabic literature, women in the Arab media.
The conference will be held on the sidelines of an exhibition of products of the Egyptian and Arab women, and the conference is an effective channel between the university and among those responsible for activating the role of women in society like the national council for women and the Arab Women Organization.
The Organizational Committee of the conference include Prof. Dr. Tariq Mansour, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Murtada, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
Participants in the conference of the National Council for Women, the Supreme Council for Culture, the Arab Women Organization, the United Nations Organization for Women and the Ministry of Social Solidarity, community organizations (Rotary Club, Inner Weil, Lions), Dar El-manzouma Services, Information Technologies (Saudi Arabia) and number of companies and organizations concerned with women's issues in Egypt and the Arab world.
