Facts and information regarding the performance report for faculty staff and assistants

1)      What is the purpose of filling the performance report to the faculty member and assistants?

From The part of the university Administration, the goal of the report is to follow the performance of faculty staff to work through faculties and departments Forums councils to improve departmental performance.

And from the part of the Supreme Council of Universities, the goal of the report is to prepare a comprehensive inventory of the activities of faculty staff and sections of various faculties and universities, classification of information, the development of patterns and phenomena, and then configure the foundations for the development of methods for assessment and evaluation.

 

2)      What is the mechanism of delivery of the report?

1 - Faculty member downloads the report from the site www.highedu.eg

2 - Faculty member fills the report.

3 - Faculty member uploads the version on the same site before March 15.

4 - Faculty member sends copy by e-mail to the head of the department for approval.

5 - The head of the department sends faculty staff reports electronically after approval from the department to the dean of the faculty and then to the President of the University.

6 - Rector sends a copy of the reports of faculty staff to the Supreme Council of Universities before March 21.

3)      Why the report is sent to the head of the department?

 

To have the approval of the report of the board of the department before it is sent to the management of the faculty and to follow up the performance of faculty staff within each department to improve performance.

4)      Why the report is sent to the Supreme Council of Universities?

 

The Supreme Council of Universities will prepare different statistical study and identify performance indicators for universities, faculties and departments to follow the performance and quality and improves the application programs, plans and future legislative amendments.

 

5)      What is the last date for filling the report?

Reports will continue to be receive on the Supreme Council of Universities until March 15 and the last date for sending reports from the President of the University of the Supreme Council of Universities is March 21.

6)      What if they delayed in submission of the report after March 15?

The deadline for delivery of the reports of the heads of universities to the Supreme Council of Universities is 21 March and universities can approve appropriate timetable which gives the opportunity to access university reports to the Supreme Council of Universities before this date.

7)      Is filling the report required only for faculty member?
